The Artefact festival is a yearly event where all kinds of artists with the help of all kinds of media (music, software, video etc. etc.) design a world for us to visit.
It lasts for 6 days and most of it is for free. At night there are theatre pieces you can visit but during the day there are also several installations you can experience for free. This years theme was the experience of rooms / surroundings.
Usually with these kinds of festivals the art pieces itself aren't of divine quality: some are good, some are fun, some just are...
But!
... it's the total trip, the finding of new things around every corner that makes you so happy...
and that's always a worthwhile experience!
We will certainly visit again next year ;-)
