How to get around in Scotland?

Well, you can of course always rent a car, something we will certainly do when we'll visit the Highlands, but what if you cannot drive a car?

We didn't travel much in Scotland but we did go from Edinburgh to Glasgow and back. First I wanted to go by train but a friend from Scotland gave me a great tip: why not go by bus?

The buses are very very cheap indeed (just check this site: http://uk.megabus.com/default.aspx) and it's very easy to buy a ticket online.
The drivers are professionals and there is enough space to sit.

So if you want to go from A to B in Scotland cheap, fast and quite comfortable consider taking a bus ;-)
